Well it looks like whatever their silly strategy was to redirect this forum into something it wasnā€™t, epically backfired. Somebody from Alta should start a thread to tell the story about how one person had a really shitty idea, that other people at Alta embarrassingly supported, resulting in one of the internets coolest hubs being run into the ground and turned into a ghost town overnight.

If I wanted to better understand the perils of poor decisions, I wouldnā€™t hesitate to subscribe to this story. It would be like a masterclass in stupidity.
